Pelta Medical Papers joins the United Nations Global Compact

Entering the New Year on a high, we are pleased to share that we have made a huge step in our efforts towards developing our ESG agenda by successfully joining the United Nations Global Compact initiative - a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

We are proud to be joining thousands of other companies that share a global commitment to taking responsibility for their business actions and creating a world that we all want to share.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 69 Local Networks.

David Matthias, Sustainability Manager at Pelta Medical Papers commented:
By joining the UN Global Compact it will help us to demonstrate a key part of our Vision; how we act ethically towards our customers, employees, the wider community and the environment.
