Whilst a part of the team for 12 years now, Marco’s role as Business Director of Asia was made official following the divestment from BillerudKorsnäs AB back in November of 2021.
Today, Marco’s expert skillset includes possessing:
- Intensive market knowledge of a number of different countries.
- Awareness of the entire value chain: from the paper and its raw materials to the medical devices and hospitals they are used.
- A variety of technical abilities to promote working as part of an international team.
Marco has played an important role in the newly launched PeltaMed Protect acrylic reinforced papers, which have generated a lot of attention in the medical market. This product provides enhanced protection for premium medical devices and is also suitable for more demanding packs.
Working within the paper packaging industry for 12 years now, Marco has seen the industry become increasingly focused on the quality of packaging papers. This has resulted in an increased demand for premium quality medical paper. To match this demand, he predicts a movement towards higher-strength and more-environmentally product development.
